The Frosty 5K is on Saturday, January 24, 2026. It includes the following events: 5K, Walk - 1.75 miles, and 1K Kiddo's Race. Brrrrr… it’s chilly out there! But at the Waukesha JanBoree, we embrace the cold with a “No Mopin’, Nose Nippin’, Cold Snappin’ Good Time!” Join us for the Frosty 5K, part of both the JanBoree festivities and the Wisconsin Chilly Willy Winter Run Series. It’s the perfect excuse to bundle up, lace up your running shoes, and embrace the crisp winter air. Bring the whole family and enjoy over 35 exciting events happening across Waukesha all weekend long. As for the race, it’s a fast and flat two-lap course around the scenic Fox River in beautiful Frame Park, accessible to all ages and abilities. We won’t sugarcoat it—January can be cold. But year after year, hundreds of hardy runners brave the elements to celebrate winter in true Wisconsin style. Don’t miss out—join us for the Frosty 5K and discover why it’s a JanBoree favorite!
