Frozen Rails 5K & 10K

Kick off the new year with a healthy start in historic Midway, KY! Join us for the 9th Annual Frozen Rails 5K & 10K in Midway, KY on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at 2pm. This run/walk event will take you through the historic town of Midway. Our races will start/finish on West Higgins Street. Our RACE DAY HEADQUARTERS will be at Midway Baptist Church (Address: 121 S Winter St, Midway, KY 40347). We'll have packet pickup and onsite registration (cash or check) from 12:30-2pm. The church has a community center (and indoor restrooms) to stay warm before heading to the starting line outside.

• 5K Run/Walk: $22, 2:00PM EST
• 10K Run: $22, 2:00PM EST
• 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk: $20, 2:02PM EST
• Little Rails 1K Kids' Run: $15, 1:40PM EST
• Virtual Runner/Walker: $30. Registration ends December 31, 2025 at 11:59pm EST
• Volunteer: $0, 12:30PM - 4:00PM EST. Registration ends December 31, 2025 at 11:59pm EST

Amenities: Commemorative long-sleeved T-shirt, Chip Timing by RaceRise, Overall & Age Group awards, Berserker Brew Coffee & hot cocoa, DJ, and a "Best Finish Line Photo" Contest. Partial proceeds will benefit the Midway Ministerial Association.
