Welcome to the Frozen RexTacular 5K! Get ready to lace up and embrace the magic of winter at the very first Frozen RexTacular 5K, taking place at Zukor Park, Kennedy Trails in New City, NY! This unique winter holiday race winds through a scenic mix of flat and rocky trails, service roads, and twisting forest paths — including a festive, pine holiday forest to keep your spirits bright. Whether you're chasing a PR or strolling in the snow, this course offers something special for everyone.

Midway Motivation: At around the 1.5-mile mark, you’ll hit a cozy aid station serving water and apple cider — plus, an optional pull-up bar challenge for those looking to test their winter warrior strength.

Everyone's a Winner: While the top 3 overall finishers will receive special prizes, every participant will earn a finisher medal and a holiday-themed gift as a thank-you for being part of this exciting first-time event.

More Than a Race: The Frozen RexTacular supports mental health awareness and encourages running as a path to spiritual clarity. Proceeds benefit Rex Runs Kindly, a nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals overcome perceived limitations through movement and community. So, bring your joy, your layers, and your love of running, and join us as we celebrate winter, wellness, and wonder in one of Rockland County's most beautiful parks.

All Are Welcome – No Pressure, Just Purpose The Frozen RexTacular 5K is a non-competitive, all-inclusive event open to everyone — no matter your pace, background, or experience. We believe in the healing power of running and movement, and that everyone deserves a chance to be part of this experience. If you or someone you know has overcome a mental health challenge and would love to participate but can't afford the entry fee, please reach out to us at [email protected]. We're offering 3 complimentary entries to individuals who could use a little extra support right now. The only request? Help us out with post-race cleanup — a small act of kindness that goes a long way.
