About the Event
Join us for the Funner to be a Runner event, a free race for children in grades 8 and younger. This event, part of the annual Spring Run Off, attracts over 450 participants each year. Please arrive early at the designated areas by 10:30 a.m.
- 10:45 a.m.: 50-yard dash for Kindergarten and younger (starts at the 50-yard line)
- 10:50 a.m.: 1.2-mile run for kids in grades 4-8 (gather at the BLUE balloons)
- 10:55 a.m.: 1.2-mile run for kids in grades 3 and younger (gather at the RED balloons)
- 11:10 a.m.: Recognition for the top 3 schools with the most participants
The 1.2-mile run will take you down a scenic trail where parents can watch from the hill overlooking the stadium. Remember, a parent or teacher can run with young kids but must register separately. We encourage schools to participate in this fun competition, striving for the Traveling Trophy!
