Join us in a race that'll have tails wagging and spirits soaring, as you and your furry sidekicks dash through the trails. But that's not all – brace yourselves for a doggone good time with a marketplace tailor-made for both you and your pets. Our food trucks are ready to serve up delicious bites that will have you drooling (and maybe even your pups too). From pup-ular games to activities that'll have tails wagging, this day promises to be filled with thrills and spills, all while celebrating the incredible bond between you and your pets. So don your capes, lace up those sneakers, and come bark up a storm at Furry Skurry – where every step is a leap toward impacting homeless animals at the Humane Society of Greater Dayton!

Be a VIPP (Very Important People & Pets) Be one of our Very Important People & Pets! It includes participation in the 5K. Our VIPPs receive all the features of General Admission tickets as well as a private check-in registration area and VIPP sWag bags with extra goodies. VIPPs will receive wristbands giving them access to an open bar and our VIPP tent. Inside the VIPP tent they will get complimentary food, a wait-staff to serve you drinks so that you don't have to stand in lines at the bar, additional seating, and so much more!

Honor Your Pet's Memory A pet is part of the family and losing one can be heartbreaking. To honor the pets that have meant so much to us and our families, we have created the Rainbow Bridge Memorial Garden that is displayed each year during our Furry Skurry event. Every pet deserves to know how it feels to have unconditional love from a family just like the love you gave to your pet. By purchasing your sign for the Memorial Garden, you are paying tribute to a pet while also supporting homeless animals!

Schedule:

• 7:15 a.m. - Registration opens
• 8:00 a.m. - Beverage Tent, Flea(less) Market, VIPP Tent open, Free microchips begin at Dayton Humane Veterinary Hospital tent
• 8:30 a.m. - 5K Race begins, Painted Pawjects booth opens
• 9:00 a.m. - Food Trucks open
• 9:30 a.m. - Farm Animal Interactions from Learning Tree Farm opens and the Race & Fundraising Awards are announced
• 10:15 a.m. - Frisbee Disc Stunt & Trick Show by Performance Dogs of Ohio
• 10:45 a.m. - Pet costume contest
• 11:30 a.m. - 50/50 raffle closes
• 11:45 a.m. - 50/50 raffle winner announced
• 12:00 p.m. - Event concludes
