This 8K (4.97 miles) race starts at 8 am on Weaver Street in downtown Carrboro, and winds through the local neighborhoods -- a great way to burn a few calories before the Thanksgiving festivities and support some local charities in the area! Price: $30.00 (increases after November 25, 2025 at 11:59pm EST)

Registration: Online registration closes Wednesday, November 26, at midnight. In-person registration and bib pickup available at Fleet Feet Carrboro on Tuesday, November 25 (3:30-6:30 pm), Wednesday, November 26 (12-6:30 pm), and race day morning (6:30-7:45 am).

Course: Starts and finishes on Weaver Street, in front of the Weaver Street Market. This is a USATF certified 8K course.

Parking: Carpool and arrive early. Do NOT park in Carr Mill parking lots (next to Harris-Teeter and Weaver Street Market).

Awards: Awards given to top 3 male and female winners in various age groups and categories (Athena, Clydesdale).

Kids Races: Free for children aged 2-9, held after the main race awards.

Stroller/Pet Policy: Baby strollers permitted (start at the back). Pets not allowed.

Food Donations: Non-perishable food donations accepted for the InterFaith Council Community Market.
