About the Event
Event Overview
The Gateway to Space is a 5K/10K held on the Space Florida Launch and Landing Facility (formerly known as the Shuttle Landing Facility). The event aims to benefit the American Cancer Society. Participation is encouraged to support cancer research and awareness.
Timetable
- Friday, February 28th, 2025: Packet Pickup from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Saturday, March 1, 2025: At the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex
- 5:30 AM: Parking Opens
- 5:45 AM: Packet Pickup and Security Check-in Opens
- 7:00 AM: Last Bus to Shuttle Landing Facility Departs
- 8:00 AM: 5K/10K Start

Due to fundraising nature, if in-person racing is not possible, participants will be moved to the virtual race. No refunds will be issued. Registrations cannot be deferred to 2026.
