Gator Tail 5k Trail Race
Date: Saturday, October 25, 2025
Location: 65556 Centerpoint Blvd, Lacombe, LA
Races: 5k, 1 mile Fun Run, Gator Gallop (½ mile)
Registration Closes: Saturday, October 25th at 8:00 AM CT
Packet Pickup: Thursday, October 23rd (1:00 PM - 3:00 PM), Friday, October 24th (4:00 PM - 6:00 PM), or Saturday, October 25th (7:30 AM onwards) at Lacombe Campus.
Course: The Gator Gallop is through a sandy field. The 5k and 1-mile runs begin at Northshore Technical Community College, traversing gravel, dirt, and grassy paths. Three water stations are along the 5k route.
Awards: All 5k runners receive a medal and t-shirt. Prizes for top 3 male and female finishers in all races.
Registration Costs:
- Gator Gallop (ages 10 and under): $20
- 5k Youth (ages 10-15): $25
- 5k Adults (15+): $30 ($35 after October 3rd)
- 5k NTCC Students: $25
- 1 mile Fun Run: $25
