Short distance multi-sport racing is back on the Seneca Lake waterfront in Geneva, NY with 2 events; Kids Triathlon and a first in the Northeast, the Geneva Mixed Team Relay (MTR) triathlon. Introduced at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic games, the MTR format is ultra face-paced, spectator-friendly, and loads of fun for triathletes of every ability.

Kids Triathlon

• Short Distance (Ages 6-9) - Swim 100 yards, Bike 1-mile, Run 0.5-mile
• Long Distance (Ages 10-13) - Swim 200 yards, Bike 2.6-mile (4.2km), Run 1.0-mile

Mixed Team Relay Triathlon

• 4 Athletes per Team (2 Men, 2 Women)
• Swim 0.25-mile (400m), Bike 3.9-mile (5.6km), Run 1.25-mile (2km)
• Each teammate completes the triathlon in order before tagging the next teammate until all four have completed the race
• Important Note: Due to the technical nature of the bike course and athlete safety, road bikes are preferred as aero positioning on the bike is highly discouraged
• Total team time is used to determine performance awards
• Age Groups calculated by average age of team and grouped by decade
