George Butler/Bart Williams Memorial Rail Run/Walk Morning Mile

Event Overview

The Annual Newbern Depot Days 5K Race and Fitness Walk is now known as the George Butler Memorial Rail Run. Over a decade ago, Reverend George Butler made it his mission to hold this race annually, regardless of participants. In his honor, we continue the tradition. Proceeds will go to the George Butler Memorial Food Pantry, operated by community volunteers.

7:00 - 7:45 AM: Race Day Registration
8:00 AM: 5K and Choctaw Mile Start

Course Options and Pricing

• Depot Days Rail Run 5K: 5K, $20
• Depot Days Fitness Walk: 2 Miles, $15
• Depot Days Morning Mile: 1 Mile, $15
• Depot Days Jr. Choctaw Run: 900 Yards (2nd grade and younger), $15
• Event T-Shirt Purchase: $15
