Event Details
The GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge is a physical and social movement for ACCEPTANCE FOR ALL! GiGi’s Playhouse unites everyone across race, gender, abilities, beliefs, and more because EVERY person deserves to be ACCEPTED as they are. Our amazing family and friends with Down syndrome are challenging YOU, the greater Simi Valley community, to be ACCEPTING, GENEROUS, and KIND!
#GenerationG is a worldwide movement that goes beyond Down syndrome and sends a global message of ACCEPTANCE for all. By taking the #GenerationG pledge, you are committing to be better every day by being ACCEPTING, GENEROUS, and KIND!
Schedule
- 8:00 am: 5K fun run/walk
- 9:30 am: Kids Dash for Down syndrome
- 10:00 am: 1 Mile Inspirational Interactive Walk
- 7:00 am – 12:00 pm: Connect to the Community with our Community Corral Booths!
- 8:30 am - 1:00 pm: After Party at the Playhouse (bring your own pop-up canopy and enthusiastic spirit!)
