Gizzy Laser Half Marathon (plus 10k & 5k options)

About this event

This is the fourth year of our Gizzy Laser Half Marathon event, sponsored by local business Laser Electrical and Plumbing. Join us for one of 3 distances (5k, 10k or 21k). We start and finish at Matawhero Winery and run the stop bank track along the scenic Waipaoa River. Walkers* and runners welcome. This course is flat and fast so if you're interested in trying for a PB, this is your race!

New this year... all finishers get a medal!

Pricing

Cost for Gisborne Harrier Club Members:
21k = $25
10k = $15
5k = $7.50

Cost for Non-members:
21k = $50
10k = $30
5k = $15

On-the-day registrations are CASH ONLY from 7am - 8am.
Entry prices are:
21km = $35 (Member) / $60 (Non-Member)
10km = $25 (Member) / $40 (Non-Member)
5km = $20 (Member) / $25 (Non-Member)

Pre-Race Packet Pick-up: Friday, 7 November at Neighborhood Pizzeria from 5:30-7:30pm.

Live music, spot prizes. Prizegiving at 12pm.

* This is not a competitive walking race. Walkers can walk or jog. For this reason, we are unable to issue placings for walkers.
