About the Event
Glen Carbon Covered Bridge 5K
Join us for the Annual Glen Carbon Covered Bridge 5K held on June 14th, 2025 at 8:00 am. Runners will run down the MCT Ronald J Foster Heritage Trail for a flat, fast, out-and-back route. The event features a 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk (non-timed).
Highlights:
- Finishers medals for all kids in 1 Mile Fun Run!
- Post-race Glen Carbon Homecoming festivities.
- Part of the Goshen Triple Crown Series (includes Run for Bonifest 5K, Route 66 10K).
Event Schedule
- June 13th: Packet pickup at Glen Carbon Village Hall (3 PM-6 PM)
- June 14th:
- 6:30 am-8:00 am: Race day registration and Bib & Shirt pickup
- 8:00 am: 5K run starts
- 9:00 am: 1 Mile run starts
- 9:30 am: Awards ceremony
Awards: Top 3 Male/Female Overall and Top 3 Male/Female in each age category (9&Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+)
