• Phantom Runner: $20, 2:00PM EDT. Registration ends October 5, 2025 at 1:30pm EDT

Place: 3500 Hog Mountain Road Oconee Veterans Park Watkinsville, GA US 30677

Description: The Global 5K is a race like no other. Not only was it created by an awesome 10 year old boy named Matt, but it also will change lives in big ways! Proceeds from the race will go to Global Samaritans to build wells in Zambia. When you participate in this fun race, you will help provide clean drinking water to a medical clinic to help people of all ages.

Race Day Schedule

• 1:00PM: Race Day Registration and Packet PickUp
• 2:00PM: Global 5K Race
• 3:00PM: Awards

Course: The 5K course runs entirely inside of Oconee Veterans Park on a paved run/walk trail.

T-Shirts: T-Shirts will be available with registration received no later than September 20. After that date there will not be an option to order a t-shirt during registration. There may be a few extra shirts available on race day.

Awards: Awards are given to Overall Male / Female, Masters Male/Female and the following Male / Female Age Groups: 10-year age group: 10 and Under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and Over

Phantom Runner: Please don't make me run, I just want a t-shirt!

Race Series and Finishline Management: The Global 5K is proud to be a member of the Black Bag Race Series. Finish line management and timing provided by Classic Race Services.

What if it Rains? We get wet! Race start time may be delayed in 15-minute increments if storms are in the area. Sorry, no refunds due to inclement weather.
