Goblin Gallop for Recovery 5K at WPCC

Burke Recovery invites runners and walkers to join the third annual race in the NC foothills on Friday, October 24, 2025. The scenic paved 5K course goes through Western Piedmont Community College (WPCC), NC School of Science and Math (NCSSM), and NC School for the Deaf (NCSD).

Race Details:

• Date: Friday, October 24, 2025
• Time: 6:00PM EDT - 8:30PM EDT
• Location: 1001 Burkemont Avenue, Morganton, NC 28655 US
• Registration: Through October 1, 2024: $30 (adults) and $20 (students 20 & under). October 2 through Race Day: $35 (adults) and $25 (students 20 & under).
• Awards: Best Costume, Top Overall Male & Female, Top Overall Male & Female Masters (40+), Top 3 Male & Female in each Age Group.
• Other: Glow sticks provided; headlamps/flashlights recommended; costumes encouraged; post-race refreshments (hot dogs and apple cider); cotton-polyester blend long-sleeve t-shirt or sweatshirt included.

Packet pickup and race-day registration are available at Western Piedmont Community College on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
