Grand Junction Fire Fighters Foundation GJ Turkey Trot
Join over 2,300 people that have made the GJ Turkey Trot part of their Thanksgiving tradition. Come out and run, jog or walk through over 3 miles of beautiful Downtown Grand Junction. This is a family event so load your kids in the stroller and bring them along.
Thanksgiving Morning - Thursday, November 27th, 2025
- 9:00 AM MST: Little Gobbler Kids Run - A free kids fun run for children 8 and under. The kids will run 1 lap around the track and finish while being cheered on by the crowd. Every child will receive a small prize.
- 9:30 AM MST: 5K GJ Turkey Trot - A family event that winds through over 3 miles of beautiful downtown Grand Junction. We welcome all ages and abilities.
City ordinance does not allow any animals, even leashed, at downtown events.

- Little Gobbler Kids Run: Free (Ages 8 and Under)
- 5K GJ Turkey Trot:
- Under 5: Free
- Ages 5-15: $20
- Ages 16+: $30 (Early Registration); $40 (Late Registration)
Packet Pick-Up:
- Wednesday, November 26th, 5:00 - 7:00 PM
- Thursday, November 27th, 7:00 - 8:30 AM
