Green Lake Kids Triathlon

Event Details

The Green Lake Kids Triathlon event happens on a family triathlon weekend--the kids Tri is on Saturday and the adult Tri is on Sunday.

This event is coordinated and managed by The Willmar Aquatic Racing Stingrays, benefiting youth from surrounding communities. All proceeds support competitive swimming.

Event Schedule

• Packet Pick Up: Friday, Aug. 8th, 5-7 pm, Pavilion at Saulsbury Beach, Spicer OR Race Day Packet Pickup 8:15am-8:45am, same location.
• Race Start Time: 9:00am

Awards

Finishers medals will be awarded to all finishers, with t-shirts for those registered before July 31st. Top 3 finishers in each age group receive additional medals!

Age Groups and Distances

• 3-4 years: Swim 20yd, Bike 1 lap, Run 1 lap
• 5-6 years: Swim 50yd, Bike 3 laps, Run 1 lap
• 7-8 years: Swim 75yd, Bike 1mi, Run .5 mi
• 9-10 years: Swim 100yd, Bike 2mi, Run .5 mi
• 11-12 years: Swim 150yd, Bike 3mi, Run 1 mi
• Elite Heat (ages 7-12): Swim 200yd, Bike 3mi, Run 1 mi
