About the Event
Event Details
The Gunpowder Keg Ultra will take place on Saturday, April 12, 2025, starting at 8:00 AM. Participants can choose between a 25K or a 50K loop race, completing the scenic trails of Gunpowder State Park.
Course Information
The race features a 15.5-mile loop mostly consisting of single track, along with some fire road and asphalt. Runners have a 9-hour time limit to complete their race.
Aid Stations
There will be two mid-loop aid stations and one at the finish, stocked with typical ultra fare. Additional unmanned water-only stops may be set up on hot days.
Registration Fee
The registration fee is $20, which supports the Birmingham Road Runners Club and park maintenance.
