Habitat Pittsburgh Youth Triathlon 2024

Join us for the 2024 Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh Youth Triathlon! This exciting event will take place on July 20th at the North Park Pool in Allison Park, United States. The triathlon is open to young athletes aged 7-15, regardless of their ability level.

Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their swimming, biking, and running skills. Each athlete will receive a t-shirt to tie-dye and a medal upon finishing the race. Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 boy and girl finishers in each age bracket.

Before the event, there will be a Pre-Race Informational Meeting on July 19th at 6:30pm at the North Park Pool. Athletes can preview the course, and parents can ask any questions they may have. While attendance is not required, it is highly recommended, especially for first-time participants.

In addition to the athletic challenge, the Habitat Pittsburgh Youth Triathlon also serves as a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh's Homeownership and Home Repair Programs. Athletes are encouraged to fundraise for these programs, and the top fundraisers will receive a gift card from Pro Bike+Run.

On race day, athletes should arrive at 7am for check-in/registration. A Race-Kickoff Meeting will begin at 7:45am, and the first heat will start at 8am. The race course varies depending on the age group, with distances ranging from 50 meters to 7 miles.

Please note that all athletes must wear a helmet and have a bike for the race. Refunds are not available, and any canceled registrations will be considered a donation to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh. In the event of inclement weather, there will be no rain date, but efforts will be made to adjust start times if necessary.
