Hair of the Bear 15K & 5K

Event Overview

ShawneeCraft Brewing Co. presents the Hair of the Bear 15K & 5K! Celebrate the 6th year of this Good Day for a Run race hosted by ShawneeCraft Brewing Co., located in the tranquil Pocono Mountains.

The Run

The event features two courses:

• 15K Course: Starts and finishes at the brewery, with approximately 5 miles on the picturesque McDade Trail system along the Delaware River. About 4 miles of the race includes paved roads.
• 5K Course: Mostly on property and neighboring roads of Shawnee Inn, finishing at ShawneeCraft Brewery. 90% paved.

Races start at 9 AM and are professionally chip timed. Enjoy water stations and course marshals at important locations.

The Post Race Fun

Finishers enjoy a complimentary brunch buffet provided by Shawnee Inn, one craft beer (21+ only), and live music from 9:45 AM. Medals awarded to top overall and age group winners.

Important Information

Packet pick-up from 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM at the "Good Day for a Run" tent at ShawneeCraft Brewery. Spectators are welcome and food and drinks will be available for purchase after the race. This race is rain or shine, and please note that there are no refunds or transfers.
