Hawley Public Library Run to Read 5K
Our annual Run to Read 5K Run/Walk will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025. We'll start and finish at Bingham Park in Hawley, PA. Start time is 8:30 AM for walkers and 9:00 AM for runners. The Hawley Public Library has joined forces with the Wallenpaupack Area North Elementary Schools Parent Teacher Student Association (WANES PTSA) to make the event better than ever!

Location: 133-179 Main Ave, Bingham Park, Hawley, PA 18428 US
Course Information: Join us for a scenic 5K race through Hawley, starting at Bingham Park. Experience the charm as you cross the Lackawaxen River, run past the library, and through Riverside Park. Ascend through the historic Green Gates Cemetery before descending back through town and Riverside Park, concluding your journey where it began, back at picturesque Bingham Park.
Awards: Trophies will be awarded to 1st place overall male and female finishers. Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers in each age group as well as our exceptional athlete division. All participants will be able to download a certificate that displays their finish time.
Age Groups: 15 & Under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
