Lace up your trail shoes and take on the Hell Canyon 5 Miler, a challenging and scenic race through the rugged beauty of the Black Hills! This thrilling course begins with a hearty climb to a stunning overlook, winds down the Hell Canyon Trail with spectacular views, and descends into a fast canyon downhill to a fast finish. With any luck, there will be a refreshing splash through one of the several creek crossings. Whether you're a seasoned trail runner or just up for an adventurous challenge, this race offers the perfect opportunity to test your endurance while soaking in the natural beauty of South Dakota.

• $25.00 (BHRC members receive a discount – use your member ID at checkout)
• $50.00 - Race with exclusive Hell Canyon Packable Windbreaker (BHRC members receive a discount – use your member ID at checkout)
• If purchasing the windbreaker, MUST be registered by 6:00 p.m. on August 6, 2025.

Directions: Trailhead is approx. 11 miles west of Custer on Highway 16 just past the entrance to Jewel Cave at the bottom of the hill on the right.

Special Instructions: Parking is limited at the trailhead, so please car-pool if possible.
