Helping Heroes Veterans Day 10K
Date: Saturday, November 15, 2025
Location: 44 16th St, Wheeling, WV 26003, US
Description: Helping Heroes is bringing back a Wheeling favorite! This 10K race supports local veterans. The point-to-point course features rolling hills, starting in front of Bridge Street Middle School and finishing at Helping Heroes' new headquarters. A 2.5-hour cutoff time is in effect due to traffic restrictions.
Events:
- 10K Run: $30 (price increases after October 15, 2025)
- 10K Walk: $30 (price increases after October 15, 2025)
Race Day Schedule:
- Packet pickup and day-of registration: Bridge Street Middle School Parking Lot, starting at 7:30 AM
- Suggested parking: Downtown (street parking around 14th Street, Northern Community College lots, or Wesbanco Arena Parking Garage)
- Buses to start line: Depart from 44 16th Street at approximately 7:30 AM, 7:45 AM, 8:00 AM, and 8:15 AM
- Award Ceremony: 10:30 AM (Runners), 11:30 AM (Walkers), near the finish line at 44 16th Street
