Herscher Hare & Tortoise 5K Race & 2 Mile Fun Walk
Date: Sunday, August 31, 2025
Location: 555 N Elm St Herscher, IL US - 60941. Check-in and start of race will be near the Herscher High School football field.
Events:
- 5K Run: $18 (Registration ends August 30, 2025 at 4:00pm CDT)
- 2 Mile Fun Walk: $18 (Registration ends August 30, 2025 at 4:00pm CDT)
Course Description: Both the 5K and 2-mile Fun Walk take place on Herscher’s streets. The course is flat and mostly shaded.
Awards: 5K: Awards to the top three finishers in various age divisions. Fun Walk: Award to the first 10 finishers.
Other: Refreshments will be provided after the race. Bunny Dash for kids 7 and under will be held after the main events.
