About the Event
Join the Battle! Highlander Assault is a midwest obstacle race series located in Holiday Hills Illinois, just outside of Chicago and Milwaukee. Our race features a 4 mile and 8 mile open heat option (ages 11 years and up), an 8 mile Elite Heat option, and a competitive marathon option during the morning. In the afternoon, we offer a 2 mile Family Frenzy for all ages.
Our race has a unique twist, with several obstacles inspired by Highland Games style challenges, including Archery and plenty of water obstacles. We also feature the 2023 OCR Buddy Obstacle of the Year, Tilt-A-Kilt!
