Honey & Hops Mead Mile

Join us for the second annual Honey and Hops Mead Mile benefitting the Movember Foundation on Saturday, November 1st, 2025. This unique race features a flat paved ¼ mile loop on Front Royal’s historic Main Street. Each lap begins with an 8 oz pour of 7% abv mead (provided by Honey & Hops Brew Works and included in the price of admission). A total of 4 laps and 4 servings of mead will be consumed before crossing the finish line.

Race Day Schedule

• 9:00am – 10:15am: Packet Pickup
• 10:20am: Mead Mile Pre-Race Meeting
• 10:30am: Mead Mile Wave 1 Race Start
• 11:00am: Mead Mile Wave 2 Race Start
• 11:30am: Mead Mile Wave 3 Race Start
• 12:00pm: Mead Mile Wave 4 (Walkers) Race Start
• 12:30pm: Awards Ceremony

Mead Mile Race Limit: 200 participants

Mead Mile Course: Four 1/4 mile laps on Front Royal’s historic Main Street. The course is flat and fast!

Mead Mile Awards: Top 3 Male and Top Female Only (no age groups). Awards are an inaugural mead mile insulated tumbler and hat

Mead Mile Event Rules: Must be 21 to participate. Designated Drivers are Required. Cutting the course or interfering with other athletes will result in disqualification.
