Kern County Sheriff's Employees' Benefit Association 12th Annual Honor Run

Proceeds raised from the event will be donated to the Kern County Sheriff’s Employees’ Benefit Association and will be used to assist the families of our fallen deputies by providing scholarships for the children left behind. In addition, a portion of the money raised will be used to support the Sheriff's Activities League (SAL) supervised youth activities and programs throughout the county.

Race Day registration for 5K and 10K begins at 7:00 a.m. and ends at 7:45 a.m. 5K and 10K runs will start at 8:15 a.m. Race Day Registration will be $50*

Kids 1K race day registration begins at 7:00 a.m. and ends at 7:45 a.m. Kids 1K run will start at 8:00 a.m. Race Day Registration will be $10*

Online registration will close at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2026. (Shirt size guaranteed if registered prior to February 5, 2026)

The race will begin at Section 2 of Hart Park with parking located around the park and near the site of the run.

Pre-race packet pick-up: Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Kern County Regional Training Center (962 Norris Road, Bakersfield, 93308).

After the race - medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division and a runners raffle!

Participants are welcome to walk the race route. Strollers are welcome. Leashed dogs are welcome.
