Course Description: The breathtaking HOOMPA Nickel Road Race course flows along 5 miles of coastal beauty, with long stretches of mild uphills and downhills scattered throughout the coastal outline of Nahant. There are however a couple of hills to challenge you including the HOOMPA Hill at mile two, a lactic acid-burning sea creature that turns most legs into jellyfish, and then the final uphill located on Ocean Street at Mile four which truly tests your endurance. The last mile, once you catch your breath is an ego-building body surfing downhill to the historic Nahant Life Saving Station finish line. This is truly a local classic!

Post-Race Party: There will be an awards ceremony and post-race party hosted at the American Legion at the Nahant Life Saving Station immediately after the 5-mile race.
