Huntington Turkey Trot

It’s almost time to lace up your sneakers and move your feet before you eat... and we're back at Ritter Park! The 19th annual Huntington Turkey Trot is back to an in-person event at Ritter Park! On Thursday, November 27th, 2025 we'll be having a great time with anyone that wants to have fun, enjoy each other, get some fresh air, and help animals! Families, visitors, kids, strollers, and pets are welcome! Our 5K fun run/walk supports the Little Victories Animal Rescue Group. We'll get started with registration between 8:00 and 8:45 a.m. on race day and start trotting at 9:00 a.m. Please be sure to meet everyone at the Ritter Park Picnic Shelter.

• 5K Run/Walk: $25, 9:00AM EST - 11:00AM EST. Registration opens September 5, 2025 at 12:00am EDT
• Race Shirt Only: $25, 9:00AM EST - 11:00AM EST. Registration opens September 5, 2025 at 12:00am EDT

T-Shirt Pickup
If you registered on or before November 14, local t-shirt pickup will be at The Phil Cline Family YMCA at 917 9th Street, Huntington, 25701 on the dates listed below. Participants can also drop off cans or bags of pet food for Little Victories during those times.

• Tuesday, November 21st: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Wednesday, November 22rd: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM

We will do age category prizes to be announced on race day. 1-12, 13-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
