The Ice Breaker 8K is a trail race hosted by Square One Events at Lakeside Park. The course features rolling trails through the woods, ideal for beginners and experienced runners alike. Runners, walkers, hikers, and leashed dogs are welcome. Strollers are not recommended due to the terrain.

Start/Finish & Parking: Between the baseball diamonds and the football field on the east side of Lakeside Park. Parking available around the baseball fields.

Packet Pickup: 1 Hour Prior to race start time near the starting line.

Aid Station: Located on the course at 2 separate mile markers.

Course Details: Single track trails that are beginner friendly with minimal roots and gradual inclines. The course starts with a short lap around the baseball diamond sidewalk before heading into the trail head. The aid station will be passed twice.

Awards: All Finishers Receive a Finishers Medal. Top 3 Male and Female Overall. Top 3 Male & Female Age Group awards for categories 1-9 through 70+.

Series Points: Part of the Age Group Point Series.
