Independence Day 5k/1k

Event Details

The Independence Day 5k/1K takes place on Saturday, June 28th. Runners can take part in a 5K, 1K, or the Tot-Trot event.

Race Start Times

• 5K at 8:00 AM
• 1K at approximately 9:00 AM

Cost

• 5K: $25.00 until June 10th, $27.00 from June 11th to June 21st, $30.00 on race day.
• 1K: $15.00 until June 21st, $20.00 on race day.
• Tot-Trot: Free!

Course Information

The 5K route will take you through Cumming, with a downhill to flat finish. The 1K Fun Run and Tot Trot start at the finish line on Almon Hill Drive.

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup and registration will begin at 6:30 AM on race day at Almon C Hill Drive (in front of The Almon C Hill Center).

T-Shirts

All participants registered by June 17th will be guaranteed a T-Shirt. Those registering after will not be guaranteed a shirt.

Parking

Free parking is available at the Castleberry parking deck one block away from the start/finish line at 330 W Maple St.

Awards

Awards will be given for Overall winners, Masters, and age group medals starting at age 10 and under to 70+ (5-year increments).
