About the Event
Iron Mountain Trail Race
Register for the Iron Mountain Trail Race on Saturday, August 30, 2025, in Damascus, VA. Choose from four distances: 16, 30, 40, or 50 miles. The race starts at the Damascus Town Park gazebo and follows a challenging course through the Jefferson National Forest.
Important Notes:
- Registration closes August 11th.
- Race modifications may occur due to Hurricane Helene damage.
- No refunds, transfers, or deferrals.
- Limited medical assistance available.
Course Details: The course varies from easy running to technical single track. The 50-mile course has approximately 8000 feet of elevation gain. Time limits apply.
Registration Fees: $30 (first week), $60 (after first week). Race shirts are an additional $20.
Start Times:
- 50 Miler: 7:00 AM
- 40 Miler: 7:00 AM
- 30 Miler: 7:30 AM
- 16 Miler: 8:00 AM
