Ironfish Kids Triathlon
Date: Saturday, August 2, 2025
Location: Cypress Black Bayou Park, 135 Cypress Park Drive, Benton, LA 71006, US
Events:
- Guppy (ages 7-10): 100-yard swim, 5k bike, 1k run
- Sharks (ages 11-14): 200-yard swim, 10k bike, 2k run
Registration: $40 (before July 1st), $45 (July 2nd - August 2nd). Online registration closes August 2nd at 5:00 PM CDT. No race-day registration.
Packet Pickup:
- Sportspectrum (6970 Fern Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71105): July 31st (noon-6pm), August 1st (10am-6pm)
- Race site: August 2nd (7am-7:30am)
Race Start Time: 8:00 AM CDT
Important Note: If your child is in the Sharks division, you cannot leave the park until all Guppies finish the bike course.
Awards: All participants receive a finisher's award. Overall and runner-up awards in each division. 1st and 2nd place in each age group.
USAT Sanctioned: Youth annual license required. See www.usatriathlon.org for details.
Required Items: Bike helmet, bike, running shoes.
