J. R. Tucker Marine Corps JROTC Holiday Fun Walk/Run

Event Details

Race day is December 7, 2024, with check-in from 7:45 to 8:45 a.m. and an opening ceremony at 9:15 a.m. Following the ceremony, the 5K will start. The race will take place at the Virginia War Memorial and head to Brown's Island Way.

This event includes a T-shirt for participants and awards for the top three runners.

Course Information

The course will start at Brown's Island Way, head to the Belle Isle footbridge, run around Belle Isle, and finish back at Brown's Island Way. The course is primarily a trail with stairs, rocks, and roots, so strollers are not recommended.
