Jake Koenigsdorf Foundation Zombie Run 5k-2025!

Join us for the Zombie Run 5k, a run or walk to benefit the Jake Koenigsdorf Foundation (the JKF) - “Reducing the barriers to recovery.” Run with us in person at The Great South Bay Brewery in Bay Shore on race day, or join us from anywhere in the world by using our virtual option. We will also be having our Kid's run! The 5k in-person race is Monday night 8/11 at 7pm, kids race is just before the starting time. This follows the summer run series.

Events:

• Zombie Run 5k-2025!: $43.26 (includes $4.26 fee). 7:00PM EDT - 8:30PM EDT. Price increases after July 6, 2025 at 11:59pm EDT
• Kids Fun Run: $0. Registration ends August 11, 2025 at 4:30pm EDT. 7:00PM EDT - 7:15PM EDT
• Virtual 5k Run: $39.03 (includes $4.03 fee). Price increases after August 2, 2025 at 11:59pm EDT

Packet Pickup: Early packet pickup will be at Sayville Running Company on Friday, September 29th from 11am to 5pm. Race day packet pickup will start at 7:30am on race day morning at Hecksher State Park.

Awards: Awards will go to the top overall male and female runners, plus the top 3 winners in 10 year age groups

"Not Dead Yet" Zombie Costume Contest: Wear your finest Zombie garb to the event! Our panel of undead experts will pick their favorites and award $50 Amazon gift cards to the three best costumes.

Virtual Participants Instructions:
A virtual race can be run anywhere in the world as long as it's done during the prescribed time period. It's like a normal road race, but zombiefied!
1. Run 5k (3.11 miles) anytime between September 29 & October 1
