Get ready to run for your lives (in the most fun way possible) at the Monster Dash, sponsored by Scott’s Outdoors and Harrington Construction! This 3K (1.8-mile) fun run invites ghouls, goblins, and costumed creatures of all kinds to hit the course. Every runner will snag an event t-shirt, and the first 50 brave souls to register will also earn a shiny finisher’s medal—perfect for showing off to the other monsters. Registration is just $20… a small price to pay to outrun the shadows! Awards will be given for the Best Costume Overall, plus 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male finishers and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place female finishers—so bring your speed and your spookiest look. But don’t vanish after the run—the real feast begins at the Chili Bash around 5:30 p.m. Warm up with a bowl of chili, swap ghost stories, and celebrate a frightfully good evening with the whole community.

Event details and schedule

• Packet Pickup: Begins at 2:30 p.m.
• Fun Run Start: 4:00 p.m. at the Marketplace on Commerce Street (behind Scott’s Outdoors)
• Distance: 3K (1.8 miles) — walk, jog, or run!
• Parking: Plenty of on-site parking available
• Waiver & ID: Please bring your signed waiver and a valid photo ID
• Costumes: Wear your best costume for a chance at prizes! 🎃👻
• Registration: On-site registration available, but online registration is highly encouraged.
• Chili Bash: Stay after the race for chili and fun, starting around 5:30 p.m.
