Jim Omohundro Courage Memorial Sundown Rundown 5k Run & 1 mile walk

This year's race will be at the Eastside Sports Complex. ONLINE REGISTRATION ends at 10PM on 7/23/25, LATE REGISTRATION will be at the starting line on 7/25/24 beginning at 6:00pm, cost is $25. Late registration cost is $30 and we can accept cash, credit, or check. This is a summer NIGHT road race held at the Eastside Sports Complex. This is the 10th year of our road race which will be chip timed.

This race is a memorial race sponsored by the Omohundro Family. Jim Omohundro is a former El Paso Police officer who passed away young due to complications from injuries he sustained while on duty. The run is meant to honor Jim Omohundro's life and legacy while also benefiting youth in the area.
