About the Event
KCHA Run for the Paws 5K
This is the third and final race of the Kanawha Valley 5K Winter Series! The event will take place at Nitro High School on February 28, 2026. Race starts at 2PM.
Events:
- 5K Run: Price ranges from $25.00 to $50.00 depending on registration date.
- 1 Mile Walk: Price ranges from $25.00 to $50.00 depending on registration date.
- 1 Mile Walk with a Shelter Dog: Price ranges from $25.00 to $50.00 depending on registration date.
Pricing Schedule:
- Oct 1 - Oct 31: $25
- Nov 1 - Dec 31: $30
- Jan 1 - Feb 22: $35
- Feb 23 - Feb 27: $40
- Race Day: $50
Awards:
Individual Race Awards will be based on NET TIMES for Top 1 Male Overall, Top 1 Female Overall, and Top 3 in various age divisions for both Male and Female.
