Description: One Small Step to Build a Stronger Community! The Space Race 3K is a walk/run throughout Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex that benefits United Way of Brevard. The walk/run journeys participants through the historic Rocket Garden featuring nine authentic rockets, the booster stack that graces the entryway to Space Shuttle Atlantis®, and to Heroes & Legends featuring the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame®. Winners in each category will receive their award from a veteran NASA astronaut. After the race, enjoy a beer at the after-race party! This family-friendly event is open to guests of runners for a suggested donation of $5 to the United Way.
