With distances for every runner—5K, 10K, and the 15K Double Up Challenge—this flat, scenic course is perfect for first-timers, seasoned athletes, and everyone in between. Cross the finish line and step into something truly unforgettable: our legendary Chocolate Buffet. We’re talking multiple stations filled with all things chocolate— steaming hot cocoa, cakes and muffins, ice cream, chocolate-dipped treats, creamy chocolate milk, candies, and our fan-favorite chocolate bar carving station. It’s the perfect reward for a job well run.

The KONA Chocolate Run course is fast, flat, and packed with unforgettable views. Set on the scenic roads of Belle Isle, runners take in the Detroit skyline, the Ambassador Bridge, the Gordie Howe International Bridge, and Windsor’s waterfront. With wide, paved roads and no traffic, it’s perfect for personal bests or a relaxed, scenic run. Choose from the 5K, 10K, or 15K Double Up Challenge. And don’t forget to bring the family —the Kids 800m Sweet Fun Run kicks things off with big cheers and chocolatey smiles.

After the race, indulge in the KONA Chocolate Run’s legendary Chocolate Buffet —featuring hot cocoa, chocolate-dipped treats, cakes, muffins, ice cream, and more across multiple stations. Every participant receives a custom oversized finisher medal, while the first 600 registrants score an exclusive KONA Chocolate jacket. The event also includes age group awards, a festive atmosphere, and plenty of post-race fun. It's more than a run—it’s a full-on celebration of fitness, fun, and all things chocolate.
