Kona Kids 5k

The Kona Kids 5k is a race supporting Kona Kids, a non-profit organization which empowers the kids of Kona (on the Big Island of Hawaii) by teaching ownership of mind, body, and goals. This race supports Kona Kids by donating all proceeds to it for purchasing schools supplies and meals for the children Kona Kids cares for. This year's race is in honor of The Iron Tri-Dad (aka John W. McCoy) and proceeds will go to the McCoy College Scholarship for our Kona kids.

• Kona Kids Virtual 5k: $27.50. Registration ends August 31, 2025 at 8:45am EDT
• Kona Kids In-Person 5k: $30. 9:00AM EDT - 11:00AM EDT. Registration ends August 31, 2025 at 8:45am EDT
