This race offers a stunning and challenging course with an old-school ultra running feel. Expect minimal course markings and aid stations. A portion of the profits will go toward funding the Socorro High School Cross Country team and maintenance of local trails.

Cutoffs:

• Byway Aid Station (Mile 7.5): 10:30 AM
• Johnson Hill Aid Station (Mile 17.0): 12:30 PM
• Byway Aid Station (Mile 24.5): 3:00 PM

Aid Stations:

Aid stations will be minimal but adequate, providing water and snacks. Runners should carry their preferred drink mixes or gels.

Directions and Parking:

The race starts at a small pullout off the Quebradas backcountry byway. The road is drivable in most sedans, though some washboard exists. Carpooling is encouraged. Additional pullouts are available within 0.5 miles. For carpooling, meet at Escondida bridge park before crossing the Rio Grande.
