Labor Day 5K Fur Run

This race is an excellent opportunity for community members to come together and support a great cause. Whether you're running/walking solo or with your furry friend, every step you take helps provide care and helps to find homes for abandoned and homeless pets. Proceeds from the 5K Fur Run will go directly to DeKalb County Animal Services, supporting their mission to care for and rehome animals in need. All leashed and well-behaved pets are welcome to join in on the run or walk. There will be water stations for pets and participants. Registered participants will receive a t-shirt within their race packet and those that complete the 5K will receive a finisher medal.

Race Day Events:
7:30 a.m. – Welcome and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
7:40 a.m. – Instructor led warmup session
8:00 a.m. – Race begins

Participants and guests may park on the campus of Mercer University. The closest parking lots can be accessed using the following address: 2930 Flowers Rd. S, Atlanta, GA 30341.
