Lake Mary's 9th Annual Run with a Hero 5K and Kids Run

Join us for the 9th Annual Run with a Hero 5K & Kids Run, sponsored by Orlando Health. This event is chip-timed and suitable for runners and walkers of all skill levels. Awards will be given to the top 3 males and top 3 females. All finishers will receive a medal (limited to the first 200 registrants).

Free entry for all Police, Fire, EMS, or Military personnel (email for promo code).

Events:

• 5K Run/Walk: Chip timed. Price: $10 (increases to $15 after the first 100 registrations or after December 31, 2025).
• Virtual 5K: Price: $10. Registration ends January 24, 2026.
• Kid's Free Run: Open to ages 10 and under.

Race Details:

• Date: Saturday, January 24, 2026
• 5K Start Time: 9:00 AM EST
• Kids Fun Run Start Time: 8:30 AM EST
• Race Packet Pickup: January 20-23, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM at Front Running Sports (1061 S Sun Dr, Lake Mary, FL). Also available on race day from 8:00 AM.

Race Day Activities:

Pre-Event Celebration Kickoff: 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM. The event includes fire, military, police, and other life safety-related displays/booths, hands-on activities, live demonstrations, and games.
