Join us for the best bargain half marathon (aka 21.1KM race) in the Bay Area! I personally don't like to call it a ½ Marathon--it's an achievement to finish the whole thing! So I like to call this the 'Lake Merced 21.1 KM and 7.25 KM race'. Because who wants to do 3 loops and be '1/2 done' with anything? The race: Three loops around the paved Lake Merced bike path includes aid stations, post-race snacks, finisher ribbons to all participants, and place ribbons to the Top 5 Overall M/F/NB runners. The single loop (7.25KM, 4.5M) also starts at 8:00am in the main parking lot. Finisher ribbons to all participants, and place ribbons to Top 5 overall M/F/NB runners. Rain is held rain or shine, fog, dense fog, or really dense fog. No refunds. Non-member race fee is $10. Annual DSE Adult Membership is $20 and members can register on race day for $5, cash only. Race check-in begins at 7:00am and the race starts at 8:00am. Parking available at the main parking lot near Sunset Blvd. Additional parking available along Lake Merced Blvd. Rain is held rain or shine, fog, dense fog, or really dense fog. No refunds.
