Event Information

The Lakers Roundwood 10K Run returns on September 12, 2025! Set against the stunning backdrop of the Vartry Reservoir, this beautiful lake-side trail run offers a great opportunity for both runners and walkers.

Registration: Opens at 8:30 AM and closes at 10:00 AM at Roundwood Parish Hall
Race Start: Runners at 10:30 AM, Walkers at 10:00 AM

Course Information

The 10 km course is primarily trail with some uneven terrain, featuring only approximately 1 km on the road. The course is flat and suitable for runners, but be prepared for a bit of muck thanks to the Irish weather.

Refreshments

There will be water stations at the 4 km, 7 km marks, and at the finish line.

Post-Race

Enjoy a BBQ and refreshments at the Parish Hall where prizes for first and second place will also be announced. Every participant will receive a commemorative medal upon crossing the finish line.
