About the Event
Event Details
The Lamp for Haiti 5K raises funds to benefit the non-profit Lamp for Haiti. This organization is dedicated to improving the lives of marginalized persons in Haitian society through quality medical care and humanitarian assistance. Their collaborative work with local residents and partners aims to ensure that communities can meet their basic needs sustainably.
Race Start
The race will start at N 6th Street across from the Cherry Blossom Welcome Center.
Course Details
The course runs down Park Drive West to 2nd Ave, circling back around to Park Drive East, finishing at the Cherry Blossom Welcome Center. The racecourse is USATF certified, welcoming both runners and walkers.

Awards
Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers in age categories from 18-24, continuing in five-year increments up to 75.
