LAR’s Swamp Stomp 1/2 Marathon & 1 Mile Fun Run

The Lake Area Runners presents the Swamp Stomp 1/2 Marathon and the 1 Mile Fun Run on Saturday, December 13, 2025. The race will start and finish at Graywood Park located at: 3861 Gray Market Dr., Lake Charles, LA 70605. This course through the streets of Graywood Plantation subdivision offers plenty of opportunities for your friends and family to cheer you on along the course! There will be multiple water stops and port-a-potties along the course. Stay for the after party! Free food provided by Bolton Ford, refreshments, fun/games, and music for all our runners and their families.

Swamp Stomp Half Marathon

• Distance: 13.1 miles
• Start Time: 7:00AM CST
• Minimum age: 14 years old

Swamp Stomp 1 Mile Fun Run

• Distance: 1 mile
• Start Time: 8:30AM CST
• Open to all ages

Registration Fees:

• $90 (September 1-October 31)
• $95 (November 1-November 22)
• $100 (November 23-December 11)
• $120 (December 12-13)
