2025 Schneider Electric Marathon De Paris
- Running
- Marathon
The event lasts for 1 day. A challenge worthy of your legend. Think you have the mindset? Endurance? And above all, a good dose of craziness? Welcome to Last Jornet Standing, the race where it all comes down to your head and legs… until they give up on you.
It starts simple, but it quickly becomes epic. Each loop is 7 km with 100m of elevation gain (just two climbs of Montmartre, really). You have a maximum of 60 minutes to finish it. Late? You’re out. Not at the next start? You’re out. In short, you’re out.
Each loop starts exactly on the hour. You finish in 45 minutes? Great… but you have to wait in the neutral zone until the next start. A pacer can accompany you from 20:00. They’ll have access to refreshments, but if you abandon, they also have to leave the race.
To win, you must be the last person to complete a loop in under 60 minutes. If several runners complete 23 loops, the first to finish the 24th is crowned.
Each runner must come with a 10 euro bill that they will keep on them during the race. When you abandon, you slip your bill into the "mental savings jar". At the end, the winner takes it all. A little treasure for the last hero standing.
To last through 24 hours of racing, you’ll need to prepare:
Date: April 26
Location: A small forest in the Paris region (exact location will be communicated a few days before the event)
Start: 14:00
Duration: 24 hours
Registration: 15 euros via Lydia (just to cover logistics and some nighttime surprises) + your 10 euro bill for the "pot for abandonments". IMPORTANT - PAYMENT: After registration, an email for payment will be sent! You will have 24 hours to complete the payment; otherwise, your spot will be released for sale!
Get ready; the challenge of your life starts here. Are you ready to face your mind, push your limits, and stay standing when everything tells you to stop? Then join us on April 26th to enter the Last Jornet Standing legend. Sign up now. Who knows? Maybe it will be your bill that fills the jar…
