LECOM 5K Run the Green Bridge

Join Us for the LECOM 5K Run/Walk! Since 2013, this popular and successful event has brought the community together to support a great cause. Join us on the beautiful downtown Bradenton Riverwalk to run or walk the 5k (3.1 miles) course! The race will take participants across the iconic Green Bridge and back, finishing along the scenic Bradenton Riverwalk.

Event Highlights:

• Free food provided by Slim Chicken's for all participants!
• Free coffee courtesy of Lucky Bean Coffee Co.
• Prizes for Winners: Gift certificates from Crop Juice and Pincher's.
• T-Shirt Guarantee: Register by January 31 to guarantee your race T-shirt!
• Mayor Brown will kick off our 5K race at the starting line!

The LECOM Student Scholarship Fund

The Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine continues growing rapidly, attracting some of the brightest candidates for the College of Osteopathic Medicine, School of Dental Medicine, School of Pharmacy, School of Podiatric Medicine, School of Health Services Administration, and School of Biomedical Sciences. While LECOM maintains one of the lowest private medical school tuitions in the country, these students face mounting debt as they complete their education. Each year, the college conducts fundraisers only for the purpose of providing scholarships to our students. Your support of the LECOM Student Scholarship Fund will help deserving students fulfill their dreams of becoming physicians, pharmacists, and dentists. There will be participation medals awarded for all finishers!! Winners will be awarded in the following Overall Divisions (based on gun time): Overall Male and Female 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Male and Female winners will be awarded in the following Age Groups (based on chip time): 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
